08:23 AM ET 10.29 | Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien found himself somewhat overqualified for his gig on Sunday. [Julien] helped coach the Winthrop Squirt B hockey team to a 3-2 win over Watertown. Julien was coaching to benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and Massachusetts youth hockey. The Winthrop team won Julien's services via a raffle. "It was a lot of fun to get behind the bench and deal with young hockey players again," Julien said. "They were having fun and enjoying the game. They were an excited group." Winthrop coach Steve Indrisano led the Winthrop club. During the game, Julien offered tips to the coaches and players. Following each goal, Julien applauded his players. After each shift, Julien gave them taps on the helmets and fist bumps.

And, to think, Bruins fans didn't like this guy at one point.

He's always been a likable guy, but his all defense all the time style was boring us to tears. Having all his horses healthy in 2011 and urging them to forecheck more aggressively really got the Bruins on a roll. Winning the Stanley Cup certainly earns him a pass for last year.

With the length of the regular season and the playoffs going into June anymore, it seems highly unlikely there will be many dynasties in the future. Neither the Bruins or the Canucks stood much of a chance last year. We will probably see a lot of every other year champions from now on if teams can stay intact and healthy.
