12:00 PM ET 10.29 | Virginia Tech Hokies quarterback Logan Thomas entered the 2012-13 college football season with a lot of hype surrounding him and he was considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2013 NFL Draft class. Unfortunately for Thomas, things haven't gone quite as planned. As a result, Thomas plans to return to Virginia Tech for his senior season in an effort to fine tune his skills. "I've always told everybody that I'm planning on coming back for my last one," Thomas said, via CBS Sports. "So there's no change in that right now."

refine his skills indeed. accuracy and decision making, especially. The thing is, Thomas shouldn't count on the starter's job being there for him next year let alone assume that he actually has NFL draft status. Barring a player's strike, I don't foresee him ever suiting up for an NFL regular season game.

You know NFL personnel men will weigh the numbers against the results against the intangibles.

If he could block and catch possibly a TE. Not gonna make QB in the NFL at this rate.
