01:02 PM ET 10.29 | Tennessee Titans tight end Jared Cook has requested a trade, according to The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt. The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday. Cook, 24, is in his fourth year in the league, all with the Titans. In eight games this year, and only three starts, Cook has 28 catches for 373 yards and two touchdowns. He's averaging 46 yards per game. Cook is second on the Titans in receiving. Only Kendall Wright (40) has more catches and Nate Washington (443) has more yards. Washington and Wright also edge Cook in touchdowns, with three apiece. The former third-round pick out of South Carolina appeared in all 16 games for the Titans last year. He hauled in 49 catches for 759 yards and three touchdowns.

He must not like country music.

When you want something from Santa, you don't plop down on his lap on Christmas Eve and ask him. Why do you thing they start the Christmas music on the radio and in the malls on Thursday, right after Halloween? Like, there are production cycles and raw materials to consider, not to mention all the breaks those union elves take.

If you want a trade, fool, try a few weeks before the deadline next time.

a lot of us that live here don't like country music......Titans are just plain average on offense and just plain terrible on defense.....be lucky if it is an 8-8 season......but it is a little late to ask for a trade......must be more to it than we know.......

It was just an expression, sort of like 'no kidding.'

Unless he goes to the Patriots or the Pack, his numbers would be virtually the same in any offense, he has talent but I don't see explosive playmaking in his tool box

I guess that when you are as dominant as this dude, you just need a better location to show your talent.

Other types of music are played in Tennessee. Maybe he's just not a leader and thinks he will be needed/wanted on a better team. What team, better than the Titans would want this malcontent?

Here we go again. It was just a smart aleck remark. I've been to Nashvillle and experienced it's eclectic music scene.
