01:43 PM ET 10.29 | The NFL trade deadline was pushed back two weeks prior to the start of the season and the NFL teams may receive even more time to conjure up trade talks. Because of the danger of Hurricane Sandy, multiple clubs have shut down operations today. The trade deadline was initially scheduled for Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET but it could be moved back because of the storm. "It is being discussed and we will let the clubs know if a change is made," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Around the League via an email. With NFL teams shutting down operations and the league office being closed today and potentially tomorrow, it would make things nearly impossible to complete any necessary paperwork to make a trade official.

No! Nothing is more sacred than the NFL Trade Deadline!

How are we to have faith in anything if they start moving this around? Next thing you know, they'll change the value of pi and have water freeze at 10 degrees Fahrenheit to keep snow off the field in the 2014 Superbowl.

This proves Choirboy is a panzy. Cat 1 storm doesn't even warrant the lifting of an eyebrow. Besides the fishing is really good just before they arrive. I caught (and released) around fifteen to eighteen snook in about 2 hours with hurricane Ivan fifty miles off shore. Some of the best fishing of my life without a doubt.
