In a surprising turn of events, the Mavericks have cut ties with West after he got into multiple locker-room altercations during the preseason. It's unclear whether West will hook on with another team, but you can expect NBA decision-makers to be cautious before committing a roster spot to him.

He'll catch on somewhere. Any team that makes sure he takes his medication will have no problem. He was fine in Cleveland, and didn't seem to have any problem in Boston. Too bad Miami is out of the question.
