02:34 PM ET 10.30 | NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen is interested in stepping into a bigger role with a NBA organization. Pippen is currently an ambassador for the Chicago Bulls but he would like to get a chance at a head coaching gig in the NBA. Pippen is also interested in having Phil Jackson join him in a front-office role. "It is (my goal to be head coach)," Pippen said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I still enjoy the game. I'm around the game. I'm a guy that has always loved basketball, and I love being a part of it." Pippen has zero coaching experience and that is why he would like to work with Jackson. He expressed his respect for Jackson and would heavily lean on him.

Don't do it Scottie. Just like at MJ's lack of success and join Dancing With the Stars next season.... IMO.

Somehow I don't feel like Scottie or Ewing can be good HCs. Maybe assistant coaches.

Ewing should be a HC first then Scottie. Ewing has put his time in, and Scottie has not!

Being a good player doesn't make you a coach automatically. You need a different kinda skill and brainset to be a successful coach.

some of these players don't realize that there is actual work involved when you coach.

MUCH MORE work than playing...besides, who wants leadership from Scottie? The same 'leader' who refused to go on the court bc the play wasnt set up for him...
