02:39 PM ET 10.30 | Auburn linebacker Ashton Richardson began his time at the university as a walk-on and he is now up for one of the most prestigious awards in the nation. Richardson has been named a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship. The Rhodes Scholarship is considered the "world's most prestigious scholarship" by the likes of Time, Yale University Press, The McGill Reporter and Associated Press. "I was overjoyed by it," Richardson said. "Going into this process I didn't understand how big a deal it was, but I found out it's definitely life-changing thing." Recipients of the scholarship are provided the opportunity to do graduate work at the University of Oxford.

That's probably why Auburn isn't winning. They tried to go the legit route and it's not working out for them.

They aren't winning because their coach is bad. Bama had a finalist in GMac and he has a ring.
