03:42 PM ET 10.30 | The Panthers defense has given up two touchdowns or fewer in their last three games yet find themselves in the middle of a losing streak. The Panthers have lost five straight and defensive coordinator called the latest one against the Bears "gut-wrenching." "Two hundred ten total yards, six sacks, three takeaways, in my history in the NFL you win those games," said McDermott. "And that's why it's gut-wrenching to see the performance defensively that those guys put on the field." The Panthers decision to stay in a particular defense on the Bears final drive has been criticized.

1-6 must be gut-wrenching...

Cam to the rescue. OK Cam, time to shine. Time to just take over baby and lead this team on. Oh, you say the receivers they gave you suck. You say the O line doesn't protect you and they suck. You say defenses are playing the run better and that sucks. So what your saying Cam is you can win if you had players like the Giants.

Cam should have stayed in school for another year or two. He could have learned to handle adversity a little better.

The biggest problem with the Cats is not the defense, it is on the other side of the ball. Until Cam realizes the game is not just about me me me they will continue to struggle with him at QB.

All right then. No one is an idiot. Its just that we all have our issues to work out these days. Sorry!

I wish Cam the best and I think he can be a great QB. Just let him learn some more things.....

I had hopes for them at the begining of the season. Not sure where they lost it.

Well, he was in the SEC, not sure who actually attended his classes or took his tests. Another year of goofing off in the dorm while his "tutors" did his work for him might not have helped that much.
