Barnes suspended for one game

05:19 PM ET 10.30 | Matt Barnes' arrest in July is affecting his ability to play NBA games in October. The Clippers' swingman has been suspended by the team for Wednesday's season opener against the Memphis Grizzlies after pleading no contest to a July arrest for threatening a police officer. Barnes was charged with "resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer in the discharge of his duties." Barnes will be eligible to return to the lineup for the Clippers' second game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
