08:00 AM ET 10.31 | Florida fans may finally get their man. Tim Tebow could soon be a part of our home team. Sources tell Action Sports, the Jaguars are making a play to trade for Tebow before the trade deadline this Thursday. The deadline was supposed to be [Tuesday]. It was pushed back a couple days because of Superstorm Sandy, which hit New York hard. It just so happens, that's where Tebow plays now for the Jets. Action Sports is working to confirm the possibility that Tebow could be headed home. We've called Jags owner Shad Khan, who said publicly that he would've drafted Tebow. Action Sports also put a call into Jags General Manager Gene Smith, who made a play for Tebow in the offseason.

The Jags need someone to block on punting downs?

Tebow doesn't respond to someone making a play for him. He's a virgin.

Does that mean we'd get 3 Jags threads every day?

I didn't think Tebow had that big of a fan base in LA.

It seems pretty obvious that Rex doesn't plan on using him no matter how badly the Sanchize performs on the field.

Can't say this improves the QB position in Jacksonville... but it'll sell a ticket or two.

October 31, 2012  08:25 AM ET

This is to sell tickets only. They don't really think they can win with him.

Oh, I think if he's used right, he'll win some ball games for them. Say what you want about Tebow, he's still a winner.

He doesn't have to be good. He just has to be better than Gabbert or Henne.

And you know this?

October 31, 2012  08:45 AM ET

It's Tebow time!

October 31, 2012  08:48 AM ET

He wins games, something the Jets and Jaguars have a problem doing.

October 31, 2012  08:53 AM ET

Might as well trade him, Sexy Rexy isn't using him.
