12:39 PM ET 10.31 | During the MetroPCS live video chat with UFC President Dana White on Tuesday, UFC middleweight turned light heavyweight Chael Sonnen responded to critics who claim he didn't earn a title shot with UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones, but instead talked his way into into it. "I keep hearing that I talked my way into the fight, and guys it's true, but the word that I used was 'yes'. When the chance came and they said do you want to fight? I said yes," Sonnen said. Sonnen is currently filming season 17 of 'The Ultimate Fighter' opposite Jones in Las Vegas. The pair will fight for the light heavyweight title in April of 2013.

At least Sonnen is honest that it wasn't his 1-2 record at LHW in the UFC - or his recent loss to Anderson Silva - or the fact that Chael is the new Randy Couture - getting a title shot every fight or two, in spite of never really being the top dog.
