12:45 PM ET 10.31 | Tim Tebow trade rumors are setting the internet aflame with just over 24 hours to go until the NFL trade deadline. Talk of Tebow to the Jacksonville Jaguars has been squelched more than once since the beginning of the week. On Wednesday, Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert weighed in on the subject. In a conference call with Detroit media - the Jags play the Lions this week - Gabbert said, "I think we're pretty satisfied here at QB." Gabbert, a first-round pick in 2011, was 27-for-49 with 303 yards and a touchdown in a Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers. For the season, Gabbert is completing just 55.6 percent of his passes with 1,209 yards, seven touchdowns and just three interceptions.

That is correct. We need to get a new GM and get the rebulding process back on track. Time to face it, it's all about 2013 now.

He needs to get that completion percentage number up.

The end game by The Shiekh is to have the Jags in LA.

Where will they move after LA ?

NFL football in L.A. is like a gang trcue, it doesn't last long.

The Jags actually draw surprisingly well, compared to their instate counterparts.

Owner to Gabbert: "So Blaine are YOU going to help sell tickets with your play?"
Gabbert: "I'm trying to get better each week sir"
Owner: "Then we DO need Tebow"

I would like to see Tebow go to a team that will give him an honest shot at developing into a player. QB RB TE whatever

Happier than a slinky on an escalator.

Uh... by your 2nd or 3rd year in the pro, you should have already developed into whatever position you're going to make a career out of.

I used to think Gabbert reminded me of Sanchez, but now I giave Gabbert more credit. At least he had the stones to speak up.

October 31, 2012  03:54 PM ET

Face it, Tebow isn't going to catch on anywhere as a QB. He might make a half way decent TE.

October 31, 2012  04:08 PM ET

Does anyone really think it is coincidence that TT goes to NY and the biggest storm surge recorded since 1821 happens?

October 31, 2012  04:15 PM ET

However; Gabbert did acknowledge the Jaguars need a real quaterback...

October 31, 2012  04:23 PM ET

If I was the starting QB for a team, I would be pretty sure that team didn't need Tebow, or any other QBs either.

October 31, 2012  07:18 PM ET

Of course BG would say something like that....the rest of the squad, BLEH, Gabbert isn't going to set the world on fire. Not sure why anyone ever thought so, I called it before the draft, should be a 3rd to 4th rounder at best.

Half decent? He'd be a monster TE, Bronkowski-esque type player.
