RGIII prefers not being compared to Newton

I like this guy. I hope the whole team picks up on his attitude and work ethic. Cam doesn't seem to be doing anything for the Panthers leadership-wise.

Did you see RGIII's scramble at the end of the Giants game in week 7? Rodgers is good when he gets flushed out of the pocket, but that play showed that RGIII can make something happen, too.

For now, yeah, Rodgers would be the one I'd pick, but if you put RGIII on the Packers and Rodgers on the Redskins, it would be RGIII who'd be lighting 'em up.

RGIII is a helluva a player, but the comparisons to Cam Newton are inevitable. Who's going to have a better career? Isn't that the question, because really you judge a qb not on a one year but on a body of work. Assuming they both stay with their respective teams I have to like RG's chances a little better as the Redskins do have a fairly talented team. Shame that they're stuck with Shammy but there you go.

That's right (although I think Rodgers makes the team much better than they actually are). Huge upside for III, although he has to learn to be prudent with his body. Young man's bravado might get him injured before he can accomplish what he is capable of.

Well let's see both first round picks, both Heisman winners, both played option style offenses, both famous for their running abilities as well as their throwing arms, and yes they are both black, but if they were both irish you would still be comparing them, and yeah that would also be a similarity wouldn't it?
