04:39 PM ET 11.01 | The NFL trade deadline saved its biggest trade for last. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have confirmed via Twitter that they have traded cornerback Aqib Talib to the New England Patriots. The compensation on the trade is not known. Talib, who was the Bucs 2008 first round pick, currently serving a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs. The question is whether his talent outweighs the off-the-field headaches.

Not worth the headache. Guy has talent, but he just never seems to learn his lesson with the off the field issues.

He always seemed to have some kind of issue going on down here in Tampa. If anyone can straighten him out though it's BB.

Truth.

So they wean him off the performance enhancing drugs and he can't outrun tightends.

I'd hate to be the announcer for any of his games... That name is a tongue twister...

I think they take Adderall to improve concentration. He'll still be able to outrun the tight ends, he'll just forget what he is doing after about 5 yards and stop for a drink of water.

Hope that doesn't worry you.... It is a measured risk.

Low risk investment. If he sucks, then he will be a FA

Viictor Cruz ate him like toast. The Bucs would've traded him for some clam chowder, and A 6th round pick!!!
Thanks New England!
