05:50 PM ET 11.01 | Stephen Curry's ankle injuries would scare several teams, but the Golden State Warriors believe in his talent. They signed him to a four-year, $44 million contract extension on Wednesday, even though they know there's a risk he will get injured again. "Time will tell, but we felt like obviously we put $44 million dollars on the table (to show) that we believe in him," Warriors general manager Bob Myers said. "It's a big belief in his health; you can bet against it or you can bet on it, and we decided to bet on it." Curry played in just 26 games last year while dealing with injuries to both ankles.

I thought they would let him play for his contract this year. I guess not.

Curry got lucky with this deal.

I think this team would be on top of the list when it comes to injury since Portland no longer has Roy and Oden.
