07:01 PM ET 11.01 | If Deron Williams isn't himself this season, it might be due to injury. The Brooklyn Nets star will be playing through the year with bone chips in his left ankle, general manager Billy King said. King said the injury was "manageable," and Williams said he doesn't expect to miss any time. "I think probably the majority of athletes have bone spurs that they deal with at some point in their career," Williams said Wednesday." "I don't know if I'll have to have surgery. I'm just saying that might be something that happens after the season. But as far as right now, my ankle feels like new since I got the shots, so hopefully I won't have to have any surgery at all."
