08:11 AM ET 11.02 | Former All-Star forward Antonio McDyess may be putting a new spin on the phrase "one and done." After sitting out a season in retirement, [McDyess] is contemplating a return to the NBA. McDyess, 38, has been working out in Houston and has instructed his agent, Andy Miller, to gauge league interest in him. "He would consider coming back and I will be reaching out to select teams," Miller told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday night. Long considered one of the consummate professionals and gentlemen in the NBA, McDyess played 15 seasons before retiring with the San Antonio Spurs in 2011. Several knee surgeries between 2001 and 2004 perhaps curtailed McDyess prime as perennial All-Star selection.

Not sure what his playing shape is, but dude can rebound and play reasonable defense. Plus his mid rage jump shot.
Infact the hawks could use him in spurts if he's willing to play at vet's minimum.

You guys act surprised by this, the list grows......Sheed, Kurt, Cams, Kidd, Nash, Fisher and now McDyess, but I'm really looking for the likes of Kemp, Bol, Shimmy and the Mailman to be on a team postal list wit contract offers....now that would be somethin!

Yes very true, but at the same time it looks like the Knicks will need more Geriatric doctors on premises then trainers to keep this team together and running smoothly... The Knicks are just too dang old... I understand the need for veteran talent but like c'mon man, we both know none of them are gonna dive for loose balls and work that much more when it counts... their old aging bodies can't take it...
