Just kidding. But Spurs don't need Gino right now. They also need to pace out Timmy, who looked TERRIFIC in the 2 games, and Tony is much under appreciated due to paul, Williams, Rondo etc, but he is easily a top-5 PG consistently the past few years.

Leonard had some good stops, but still not sold on his offensive game. Why they still play Bonner is beyond me!!

Look, Pops knows very well knows how to manage players minutes and set team expectations, no surprise here. No one should be worried at all.....Pops right on time with his plan.....believe that!

Good morning all. OKC got beat by the SA Spurs at San Antonio....by 2 points. OKC could have won if not for all the turnovers (the same thing as last year) and the rust of being their first game of the year. Even with all that going on, OKC almost won. Not too bad of a game in my opinion. Congratulations to the SA Spurs for a hard fought win.

A great early season game, very close and could have gone either way. KM did fine, but if OKC had Harden, I think they get the win easily.

So, first look at Martin with OKC, what do you think?

The Spurs keep taking this cautionary plans with their old folks. It seems season after season the same thing happen with the same final results. They probably will have the best record again.

I think Kevin Martin did awesome for having only been with the Thunder for 48 hours...I also think he will only get better as the season goes along. It was pretty brave and out of character for coach Brooks to let him play as many minutes as he did last night also. All in all, like you said, a very entertaining and close game for the early season. The future looks bright for the Thunder.

Yeah, I agree about KM. Ibaka and Perkins looked good. For coming off of a number of injuries, Perk looked very good. Looks like they are set to start rolling again.
