LSU not accepting underdog status

08:26 AM ET 11.02 | At long last, Nov. 3. When LSU fall camp opened, at least two Tiger players admitted, uncharacteristically, to having Nov. 3 circled on their calendars. ... Few pundits are giving LSU (7-1, 3-1) much of a chance of repeating that one. The feeling is more likely this game will resemble the BCS title blowout won by Alabama, 21-0. But LSU defensive tackle Anthony Johnson has a word for those aiming the final spade full of dirt on the Tigers' chances. "Everybody thinks LSU is off the map," Johnson said. "We never went nowhere. We're going to play our type of football and show people LSU isn't buried yet." Said defensive end Barkevious Mingo: "No one in this building thinks we are underdogs."

After Spurrier's stoopid comments, NFL teams aren't accepting their underdog status either.

I just can't see the LSU offense being effective. Mettenberger is going to get hit over and over and over.

I think Bama wins by 2 TD's
