01:26 PM ET 11.02 | Pittsburgh appeared to be in danger of losing three starters (running back Ray Graham, receiver Devin Street and cornerback/kick returner Lafayette Pitts) for its game against No. 3 Notre Dame. While their suspensions due to a assault charges would've meant an even easier time for the Irish, Pitt says, "All three players will remain active members of our program while we gain more clarity on this situation."

Then why play them? Were they handcuffed and taken downtown? If so then first year HC Paul Chryst should rethink his decision. Paul's parents should have named him Jesus.

No, it won't make a difference if these three play. Pitt is going to get hammered by ND either way.
It does, however, speak volumes about Pitt's head coach and his lack of integrity. He had an opportunity to truly TEACH these young men something valuable about choices and consequences.

The irony is what Paul did to the bible. Lacking so many testaments, how well do we know Jesus? We do know Paul's POV.

I agree about our remaining schedule. UF is very good, the rest are very bad. Hopefully playing in Tally will give us an edge against the gators.
To be honest, however, my dreams for us this season kind of ended in Raliegh. It will be nice to reclaim our conference title if we can, but let's be serious. Winning the ACC will impress NOBODY. At best, we'll get the opportunity to kick the crap out of the Big East champs in a BCS bowl...which, again, will impress NOBODY.

Yup. And in this case, even THAT doesn't make sense. Pitt's gonna get beaten like a rented mule, either way!

Looks like the local gendarmes stepped in and arrested the young men; they must have found clarity.

With the 3 amigos Pitt goes down by 30 and without 33. In other words, not gonna make much difference unless the Irish show up with their heads still in Norman.

As an ND fan I wouldn't rush to judgement on this. I remember everyone recently screaming that an ND player accused of rape (and whose vistim ended up committing suicide) was not tried, convicted and sentenced before it came out that he had alledgedly "fondled" the girls breasts through her clothes resulting in the rape accusation. May she rest in peace but to "convict" these three players in the media before the facts are known is no less criminal.

Prescient. Somewhere hidden in your comment might be found the key to the future of our species. It has become obvious in our lifetime, that Paul lived (Saul of Tarsus), and created the zombie we know as the J-guy, out of thin air---viola! There is no historical record anywhere on the planet that this J-guy ever existed...outside of Saul's ancient literature, Indiana, church, and the babbling of fully mind-poisoned 12-year old girls in Wichita, who are often named "Tim."
I absolutely admire your comment! Now, back to football, because, thank heaven, it's real.

The victim, in this case, did not seek medical attention nor did he press charges. But if they are in fact guilty then they should not play.
