08:12 PM ET 11.02 | All along in the NHL lockout, Donald Fehr and the NHLPA have reiterated time and time again that the work stoppage is the owners doing -- that even without a collective bargaining agreement, the players are willing to take the ice. That was the message again on the day the owners canceled the Winter Classic. ???The fact that the season has not started is a result of a unilateral decision by the owners; the players have always been ready to play while continuing to negotiate in good faith," Fehr said.
