08:01 AM ET 11.03 | The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Clippers on Friday night as Lob City took it took the Lake Show and won convincingly by a score of 105-95. While the Clippers were gelling on offense, the Lakers continued to struggle to find a rhythm and an identity for their offense. The result is an 0-3 Lakers squad. It is the team's worst start since the 1978-79 season. There is some good news, however, for the Lakers. Despite the 0-3 start during the 1978 season, the Lakers went on to make the playoffs but lost in the conference semifinals.

Just read where Nash will be out for a week. The bruise trurned out to be some slight fracture of the leg.

I'm not sure how much his return will help. They really need a stronger bench.

The Lakers have become an old team. They should trade Kobe for some young talent.

Celtics are struggling just as much but somehow no one wants to comment.
Lakers will be fine.

While this appears to be the case, the Celtics are not 0-3 or 0-11 (depending on your perspective). Yes, I am a Celtics fan but I said yesterday that the Lakers will need time, considering the new personnel and system. Right now, they have a perfect storm for underachieving, but the players see the system for what it can be which is why they're sticking by their coach... Unlike fans who've been sitting on pins and needles, waiting for him to be fired. How soon they forget that this guy came in during a shortened season, with no training camp and took them to the Western Conference semi-finals. Now he's trying to implement a system that should serve the "old legs" on this team well, while people who haven't the slightest clue about what he's doing continue to dog him. I don't know what it is about sports fans these days, but I think the majority have lost their friggin' minds.

The Lakers are showing improvement every game. They should start picking up wins this week.Nash will have a chance to sit and study his team and teammates in live action. This will be a good thingand will help him when he comes back. By next month this 0-3 blip in the road will be long forgotten.

they should win tonight against Detroit
