01:57 PM ET 11.03 | Arsene Wenger made it clear that he was disappointed with Thomas Vermaelen's error which allowed Robin Van Persie to net Manchester United's first goal after only three minutes. It was the Belgian defenders poor clearance from a Rafael cross which fell to the feet of former Gunner, Van Persie, who finished in a wonderful fashion. Arsenal went on to lose 2-1 at Old Trafford. "The error of Vermaelen is unwelcome. The big defenders dont make this kind of errors," Wenger said. "When you give the ball to RVP in this situation, there are two chances on three, there is a goal." Wenger was also unhappy with the decision in the second half to send off Jack Wilshere, who was booked for a second time after a late challenge on Patrice Evra. "Yes [Wilshere's sending off] looked harsh from the stand, the second yellow," Wenger said.
