02:42 PM ET 11.03 | The Tampa Bay Rays made a qualifying offer to B.J. Upton but he's expected to look for a long-term contract. The former second overall pick is coming off of a career high home run season and is looking to cash in. Most expect the Phillies to be the favorites to sign him. If this happened, what would his impact be on the lineup, and how much would he cost Philadelphia to lock down?

BJ UPTON would likely have more than one team after his services, the guy can hit and has sporadicaly power, plus he has outstanding deffense reportorie on his own!!

Upton has been mention the last two years in trade rumors but still stayed in TB. Either the Rays wanted to much for him or other teams thought he was not worth it, but some team like the Phils will probably over pay for his services.
