George Hill's injury cause for concern

09:24 PM ET 11.03 | Just as Pacer fans were having lofty expectations for the team, there was the news of Danny Granger being out indefinitely. There's still been no word on how long he will be out, and obviously, the hope is it's a short amount of time. But this is an injury that has been bothering Granger since last season, and to add to the injury woes, there's now also the talk of George Hill and his hip pointer. Last night showed that Hill's not too quick to the step, as Kemba Walker torched him for 30 points. In Indiana, we are used to point guards getting the best of our point guards as they're not that great defensively. George Hill is a better defender than most of the point guards that have rolled through Indiana, hence the concern over this. If he's out for significant time, or just time at all, the Pacers hopes of taking advantage of a weak Bulls team in the Central may go up in smoke.

Seems like a very odd year for injuries. Too many guys going down so early in the season.

That hip really looked to be bothering him while he scored 18 tonight...

Also, that hip really must've been bothering him; he only played 44 minutes tonight.

QUOTE(#7):

At first I thought the pacers would take that next step forward.....but they seem quite pedestrian this year

You realize they're missing Granger, right? He's been their leading scorer for 5 straight seasons.
