Radio host Bobby Hebert kicked out of LSU press box

08:56 AM ET 11.04 | At a key juncture in the fourth quarter of the LSU-Alabama game Saturday night, former New Orleans Saints quarterback and current radio talk-show host Bobby Hebert was escorted out of the Tiger Stadium press box for excessive cheering. Hebert and Alabama make for a combustible mix. He famously berated LSU coach Les Miles in the postgame press conference after LSU's 21-0 loss to the Crimson Tide last January in the BCS Championship Game. On Saturday night, Hebert was warned repeatedly about violating working press box decorum and cheering for the Tigers. Finally, LSU associate athletic director Herb Vincent informed Hebert that he had to leave the press box, and a uniformed police officer escorted him out.

Just imagine how bad he would have been after Alabama came back and won.

I remember Hebert when he was the qb for the Michigan Panthers of the USFL. Taught all us northeners to pronounce his name "A bare".

This does not sound right. Unless he was drunk and cheering his azzzzzz off. I wonder if he was constantly insulting Miles during each LSU mistake and the rest of the people in the press box just had enough?

I know...it's horrible, isn't it? And to think Bama in undefeated and ranked #1....just doesn't seem right now, does it?

LOL, actually I really enjoyed the Bama/LSU game yesterday, sure in the hell was a better game than the two last year. You have to give Bama credit, as they came back and won. I still think LSU is a better team, but I'm sure that doesn't matter to the Bama fans. :-)

That alright Old Timer it,s all relative i would have to agree had Mettenburger been consistant, and even LUS for that matter they still almost won it even with Les Miles being himself it was a great game

Your Trojans surprised me last night if they could have found a little more defense last nite they may have won that game MR Barkley did a great job and Marquise Lee was unstopable

Under no circumstances will undefeated Notre Dame team not play for the National Championship!!! Some how some way the computers will be manipulated to favor them. They travel too many fans (i.e. 50,000 for an oversees games), so there is more money to be made with them than having any other school play. I am ND fan, and I actually think its kind of unfair, but this will happen. Sorry Oregon, you don't have the cache of the Fighting Irish!!!

I disagree. Did you forget that Oregon went to the NCG a couple of years ago, the BCS picked them and I don't really see any difference this year. Notre Dame's remainng schedule has only one team in the BCS top 25, that being USC; therefore Notre Dame would have to beat USC to even be consider going to the NCG, Oregon still has two more teams in the BCS top 25 to play, their SOS will be better than ND's at the end of the season, if both teams go undeated!!!

Me too OT. I don't think the QBs are bad. I don't think they were allowed any leeway last year. Seems both coaching staffs are a little more "open" than previous games.

I'm not a 'Bama fan, but I would love to watch Alabama dismantle Notre Dame in the National Championship game. Notre Dame has had one quality win -- Oklahoma -- this year. The Big 10 took the year off, so any win against those "Leaders" and "Legends" is almost like it never happened.
If you have to go to 3OT to beat a 4-win Pitt team (and only get the win because of a missed FG), do you really think you deserve a spot in the big game?

Yeah, a triple overtime win against an unranked team is impressive. The Irish will lose to USC and will be out of the picture quick.

If the same SC team that played last night shows up 11/24, I'm really not sure ND will be able to handle them at all.
