How bad is Collin Klein's injury?

Jeesh....not one comment concerning the leading candidate for this year's Heisman Trophy?
Does not bode well for tv ratings for a Bama-Kansas State BCS championship game.

Gotta hate it for this kid he,s the heartbeat for this team and Bama , K State would be a great matchup, hope it,s not to serious

Hope it's not serious as well but sure wouldn't mind if it kept him out of next weeks game at TCU. Yeah, Colin, take the next game off and rest up for Baylor and Texas.

This is the expected outcome for running QBs, sooner or later.
That's why they don't transition well to the NFL. They get hammered and hurt; see Vick, RGB111, and Tebow if he plays enough QB will eventually get hurt, not to mention many others in the past who flashed for a season or two but then got hurt.
Klein is a good college QB, but will he be able to transition to the NFL unless he stays in the pocket?

That's why he is a good College QB...same for Johnny Football at TAMU. If they stayed in the pocket, their passing wouldn't be as successful...puts the D in a quandry when they play pass and then the QB runs for 30-40 and a TD...

Injuries are a part of the game. If K-State is only Collin Klien, then they weren't contenders anyway.

That said, good luck to him. He is a great player.

If the unthinkable happens and Alabama loses, I'll be a Kansas State fan and pull for them to win it all.

I think you have to forfeit your SEC card for publicly declaring support for a non-SEC team.

Of course, it works in CFB, but who has made it work over time in the NFL?
And, even in college, most of them only play two/three years, 25-40 games, while in the NFL they play that many in two seasons, so the probabilities of an injury are increased by the number of games.

This is why Manziel scares the hell out of me. Someone needs to teach that kid to slide or go out of bounds or do something do avoid contact before someone takes his head off. But, damn, he is fun to watch!

The whole SEC fanbase pulling for each other is a myth, from what I have seen. The people that cheer "SEC" do it as a child chants something just to annoy someone... in this case the rest of college football fans.
