Warriors lose Brandon Rush for season

10:37 AM ET 11.04 | The Warriors lost Brandon Rush for the season Saturday, when an MRI exam revealed a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, and general manager Bob Myers said it's too early to discuss how the team will replace its sixth man. Rush's agent, Mark Bartelstein, called The Chronicle on Saturday to report the news and proclaim that his client would make a full recovery, as he did from the same injury on his right knee in 2007. Surgery will be scheduled in the coming days. The usual recovery time for ACL surgery is 9-12 months, but the Warriors had to start the process of attempting to replace their best perimeter defender Saturday.
