10:43 AM ET 11.04 | New Orleans Hornets big man Anthony Davis remains day to day as he recovers from a mild concussion suffered in Friday night's win over the Utah Jazz. Hornets head coach Monty Williams wasn't happy that Davis didn't make the trip with the Hornets for Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls. "When you're dealing with the brain, I guess what's happening in football has impacted everybody," Williams said before the game. "He got touched up a little bit last night. That happens a lot in basketball. It's just that now they treat everybody like they have white gloves and pink drawers and it's getting old. It's just the way the league is now. It's a man's game," Williams said. "They're treating these guys like they're 5 years old. He desperately wanted to come, but he couldn't make it."

QUOTE(#1):

Monty you sound like an idiot right now. Don't mess around with brain injuries fool.

His point about the rules being unnecessary may be true but the fact that he's speaking up only after his main man is down makes me question his motive.
Nonetheless I am happy the league something in place for such situations. When it comes to health there's no such thing as too much care. I'm off to check the western conference standings..

Well Monty Its the players from Pro sports that have brought this type of mentality throughout the leagues , Complain that you want to play and don't want to miss checks or lose your job to another youngster when your young, And then complain years later when your broke, retired and your wife is spoon feeding You . take your pick You can't have it both ways..
