11:26 PM ET 11.04 | In 2010, Bart Scott couldn't wait to head to Pittsburgh for the AFC Championship game. He was sick and tired of the disrespect that the Jets had received from the media. Nobody gave them a chance in the game against New England, and Bart's frustration boiled over at the end of that ball game. That day may have been a peak in Bart Scott's role as the heart and soul of the Jets defense. From there, however, it has gone down hill. 2011 was a low point in Bart's time with the Jets, being overweight and eventually being taken off the field on passing downs. But Bart pledged to be a new Bart in 2012, losing weight and pledging to be on the field every down. Despite all of that work, it's time for Bart Scott to sit. He should no longer be a starting linebacker for the New York Jets.
