Barner stepping up to steal Heisman?

08:12 AM ET 11.05 | Are Miami and New York City calling Oregon and its star running back, respectively? It is unlikely that Oregon will have another performance like [Saturday's] again this season. But the Ducks probably won't need to. UO has Miami squarely in its sights. ... No remaining Pac-12 opponent has a prayer to defeat Oregon unless the Ducks spit up all over themselves in a turnover-laden meltdown. Furthermore, running back Kenjon Barner could steal the Heisman. The most dynamic player operating in the most dynamic offense in the country for an undefeated team should certainly be in the hunt. Barner has 1,295 yards and 19 touchdowns with four games remaining (assuming Pac-12 title game). Should Barner reach 2,000 yards the award should be his.

Barner would appear to be the front runner for the Heisman. But It's a wait and see if Klein can get back.

<Some of you have already seen this on the Collin Klein thread.>The Colonel (O-6) is doing poorly after recent heart surgery. His FanMail to me 11/4 @ 1700:"GTH, let others know, massive one have been in hosp for quite awhile, 5 stints, not too promising for much future, may or may not return, let everyone know, thanks."Fellas, remember our Kentucky fan, The Colonel, in your thoughts and prayers. GTH

He is on a Cardiac Life Vest (external defibrillator) 24/7 for the next 90 days...after 90 days they will implant an internal one....by then he should be able to watch Kentucky BB.

Well, if you guys who might know him or are in touch with his relatives, tell him we expect him back here soon! We refuse to accept he won't be beack and posting. (Get well, Colonel!)

AJ should be a lock to win the heisman. Best QB rating in the country. If he does not win it, it will be because of all of the media bias against BAMA. But that is ok, BAMA will win the national championship this year and I rather have a national championship than a heisman trophy any day.

Johnny Manziel.....remember the name next year
TAMU....remember the team next year.

They beat the snot out of Miss State (acknowledging it was their worst defensive performance), and was very impressed with this young man...

Kentucky BB Should be easier on the stress quotient than Kentucky FB was.

We appear to have a new Bama fan with us. Welcome to FN. Have you had your meds adjusted recently?

Agreed...Klien Barner...Barner can get 2k if Chip let him....

He'd be close right now if he had seen the second half much so far..but also possibly more banged up.
