01:00 PM ET 11.05 | The Chiefs have brought back one of the most popular players on the 2010 team that won the AFC West title. Shaun Smith, defensive lineman, inked a deal with the team on Monday, according to the Kansas City Star. The signing is a sign that Glenn Dorsey, who re-injured his calf last week, could miss multiple games. Smith spent the 2010 season with the Chiefs before signing a multi-year deal in Tennessee. The Titans cut him before the 2012 season started.

You know your in the big time player area when you look him up and get the message this player has no statistics. Do I sense that KC leadership is getting desperate to appear they are trying to fix things.

Also, the coach just fired himself from the Defensive Coordinator job. I don't know if the proper term is "desperate" or "schizophrenic."
