02:11 PM ET 11.05 | Entering his sixth season in the NBA, Kevin Durant is working on expanding his game to become more than just an elite scorer. It's a natural thing to work on for Durant, who has already mastered putting the ball in the hoop better than anyone in the league. Why not try and become someone who can make others better, too? Because that's not what the Thunder needs from him right now. While OKC is trying to get their new players to learn on the fly, Durant needs to be that steady rock they can rely on for 30 points per night. The Thunder don't have the same identity this season because that hasn't been the case so far. If they want to start winning, they need to get it back.

I believe Westbrook style of play will be the undoing of OKC because Durant is all team but captain shine Westbrook could hurt without Harden in the mix.

He still shoots long jumpers, but only now, he's making most of them.

Agree. Durant and any other current superstar may suffer the Joe Frazier syndrome as long as LeBron's playing and not over the hill.

Smokin' Joe Frazier was a great fighter but fought in the same era as Ali and Foreman.
