02:35 PM ET 11.05 | It looks like it'll still be a while before Avery Bradley returns to the Boston Celtics' lineup. He continues to progress from offseason shoulder surgery, but is still at least six weeks away from returning to the court, according to coach Doc Rivers. Bradley admitted the Celtics had a timetable, but it could change depending on how his shoulder feels. Bradley emerged late in the season last year and took the starting shooting guard job from the now-departed Ray Allen.

Jason Terry and Courtney Lee should be able to pick up the slack for now.

Plain and simple gentlemen!!!!!! DEFENSE! Ray Allen has never played any!!! In long minutes he gives up more points then he scores... Ray is perfect right where he is... He can play short minutes and have open shots all night and day when everyone is doubling Wade and Lebron...

still not sure why boston chose this guy over raysure he's younger and faster, but he's also tiny and offensively ineptand he's also broken

I hear ya, he's been hurt a while.

But the dude can defend AND has a huge heart. Remember, he braved on to defend with 2 dislocated shoulders? They kept popping out, but he still marched on.

'Melo screeches off to the locker room if he had a scratch on his toe nails lol.

It's his defense... plus the way he D'd up D Wade last season got the C's drooling... The C's will be so dangerous if this guy returns healthy and lasts the year in good health.. plus the kid hustles like his life is on the line... Love this kids attitude..
