Rumor: David Reutimann to debut with new team

So glad Reuti got a new ride.....I agree that he got the short stick in 2011....but even though that decision was offensive, it was a good business decision for MWR....it's just too bad good decisions have to come with a sting, most times....Go REUTI

Reuti will never be a J.J.......but he can do better than what we have seen this year... he's currently 34th running a very limited schedule in mediocre equipment for the #10.

That was a ride he had held since MWR first joined the Sprint Cup Series and one Reutimann felt was secure.


Nothing is permmenent anymore,anybody can be replaced at what ever you do.

I am surprised that Reuti felt it was so secure......if a driver is underperforming, even if some of it is due to tech probs, that driver gets released.......as in any business.....perhaps part of the problem was that Reuti was too comfortable to try harder......just guessing.

Reuti also was a bit lame in the commercials he did with Mikey, for Aaron's & Napa....Reuti was like a dead weight in them.....not enough spark there.

Except he had more wins than his teammate Truex, Waltrip, or Mark Martin. Bowyer has exploded in the 15 this year, which is good for him and MWR, but if you are looking at dead weight there's still a lot more there than Reuti.

true story. MWR equipment was trash before they redesigned their cars at the end of last year (or was it the year before?)..

I agree with comments about the equipment.

I agree with comment about "not being the only dead weight"

The late fall of 2011, MWR equipment was doing better.
And even the "other dead weight" is doing better this year.

Always glad to see any driver get a ride.David ain't that good but he ain't that bad either.Maybe this will bring out better results in him.Competin in the #10 with the Danica [media darlin} could not have been good for him.

Did not see that coming....Tony is sure moving fast....guess his sponsor issues are resolved...
Danica in 2013 and Harvick in 2014.......wonder who gets custody of Delana, since both of them seem to have their hands all over her LOL

What the heck is going on with RCR.....driver teams bailing on his engines and now he is losing his best driver.....Lots of questions here.....so JJ, Jg, Jr, KK, TS, RN, KH and the lovely DP, are all going to be running Hendricks engines in 2014....it just got more interesting.
