07:29 PM ET 11.05 | Los Angeles Kings goaltender and Conn Smythe Trophy winner Jonathan Quick will join the AHL's Manchester Monarchs. Quick is recovering from back surgery in the offseason, and although transactions like this are generally not allowed during the lockout, Quick's assignment to the American Hockey League is allowed because his injury was suffered before the work stoppage began on Sept. 15. It's unclear how long Quick will play in Manchester.
