04:41 AM ET 11.06 | After two road wins and an explosion by the most exciting new back in the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are returning home to old problems that you'd think the recent success would ease. But even after all that's happened in the last two weeks, the Bucs are still 9,000 tickets shy of lifting the blackout on Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. You'd think that Doug Martin's two epic performances alone would be enough to lower the number of tickets that need to be sold, but you'd be wrong. This 9,000 seems to be a recurring number for the Bucs when it comes to selling out games, as it's a number they rarely seem able to erase in time.

Even people in Tampa Bay are disgusted with the Chargers. Get rid of AJ & Norv otherwise the whole league will suffer.

It sounds like they have about 9000 seats more than the local economy will support. Close off 9000 seats, announce it as a sell-out, then sell "overflow" seats next game if needed. They might even be able charge a premium for the overflow seats
Seeing the game on TV should encourage more fans to turn out--unless the team is really bad, that is.
