08:12 AM ET 11.06 | David Ortiz, on the otherwise feel-good occasion of talking about his new deal in Boston, also had quite a bit to say about Bobby Valentine -- including "never bite the hand that feeds you" and that he "put my career on the side to help him." "No. 3, after he went on national TV to say what he said, he sent me a text message trying to tell me that it was the media trying to change things. I did not respond to the message and I said to myself, this guy must have some mental issues or needs medicine or something? I said, I am dealing with someone crazy and I am not going to drive myself crazy, so it is better if I leave it alone." Ortiz said he is only speaking up about it now because he was focused on finalizing a two-year contract with the Red Sox.

Yepper! There was frost on the pumpkin this morning for sure!

I had to scrape my windshield.

They are calling for 3 - 5" of snow tomorrow night in my area.

It is easy to put the blame on a fired manager when the team doesn't make the playoffs, but he doesn't hit for you, play the field, or pitch for you. But it is alright now Ortiz since you got a 2 year contract extension.

I haven't been paying attention to what we're supposed to get. Luckily, I park my car in the garage, so no frost to scrape for me.

I don't think your area is expected to get much snow.

What blame did he put on Valentine? All he was doing was defending himself. Papi was one of the few players who actually defended Bobby during the year, and Valentine turns around to attack him and call him a quitter? He's right Valentine is nuts.

Good ... I hope we don't have a messy mix for the commute. Granted it's only 6 miles to work for me, but ... some tricky spots on the way.

25 miles for me. But almost entirely highway.

Yeah, but 101 sucks and is one of the most dangerous roads in NH.

It's like a death road. Especially lately.
