08:16 AM ET 11.06 | A new era will soon dawn in West Lafayette. A freshman point guard. Six big men, including three freshmen, for two positions. Only two seniors on the roster, one a former walk-on who played 36 minutes last season. It's a bit too strong to say that the Purdue basketball program is starting the 2012-13 season from scratch, but there will be lots of new faces for the Boilermakers, who have averaged 25.2 victories in coach Matt Painter's past six seasons. "It's a blank slate," said Painter, whose 14-man roster includes nine with freshman or sophomore eligibility. "Obviously, you have ideas of how you would like to play, but I also think some answers are going to come with time."

Watch out for the Sooners this year. Probable NCCA bid coming after too long of a hiatus. All five starters return and Kruger got some nice recruits. It is on the upswing :-) No they wont win the conference or shock the world, but a trip to the dance would be nice!
