08:20 AM ET 11.06 | From a list that includes Kirby Smart, Sonny Dykes and Butch Jones, Charlie Strong may wind up being the most hotly pursued coach for whichever big jobs become available at season's end -- or even before. [Strong's record]: 23-12 in third year with the Cardinals. This season: 9-0 and ranked ninth in latest BCS standings. Potential jobs: Arkansas, Tennessee, Auburn. What it would take: The allure of playing for a national championship in an elite conference that recruits the South. Lacking that, Strong has everything he could want in Louisville -- including a Heisman Trophy-quality quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater and a young team that could conceivably compete at the highest level next year.

I agree...I just think that will happen. I would like somebody like John Gruden, Chris Peterson or Gary Patterson.

I dont see Patterson going anywhere. He really has bought into what he has built down there and I think he will stay until he can really try and compete for a title in the league they asked for....

I don't any of them will leave from where they are, that's why I think Strong will be the one.

My tea leaves say Danny Hope and Jerry Kill get axed.

I agree on Hope, but Kill has Minnie headed in the right direction. I think he stays. Beckmann at Illinois has been a disaster ,but I doubt he'll get axed after one season.
