Donald Cerrone calls out Anthony Pettis, Pettis fires back

11:02 AM ET 11.06 | UFC lightweight "Cowboy" Donald Cerrone has never been shy about expressing what's on his mind. For months, he's called out fellow lightweight Anthony Pettis ??? he of "Showtime Kick" fame ??? by claiming the former WEC champion has been ducking him. This time though, Pettis has decided to return fire. In a recent interview the Greg Jackson-trained fighter once again claimed Pettis was ducking him. That prompted this backhanded retort from Showtime's manager, Mike Roberts: "Anthony is running for whoever has got the belt, and unfortunately for 'Cowboy,' it's never been him." Ouch. This fight is expected to take place this January, and the increasing animosity between both men can only add to what should be one of the most anticipated lightweight fights of 2013.
