Giants donate $500k to Sandy relief efforts

03:38 PM ET 11.06 | A week after one of the worst natural disasters in United States history, victims of Hurricane Sandy are still asking for help, and Tuesday it was announced the New York Giants are going to do just that. According to The Record's Art Stapleton, the defending Super Bowl champions will donate $500,000 to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The NFL and NFLPA have also jointly pledged $1 million.

Good for the Giants. It is small change for an NFL team, but it can mean a lot help for people who have lost everything.
