Rams may get most important weapon back

08:00 AM ET 11.07 | Rams receiver Danny Amendola, despite the separated SC joint that sidelined him for three games, has turned his game up a notch in 2012 while also adding a new line to his resume -- that of the quick healer. Before the injury, suffered on that Thursday night game against Arizona, Amendola was perhaps the most important weapon on the offense. That made the injury all the more frustrating. ... An injury that could have, probably should have, sidelined him for eight weeks or more, has healed after only four weeks, which means Amendola should be on the field this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. "I'm ready to go," he said after Tuesday's practice. "I feel good. I had a good week last week. In my mind I'm playing."

Meh.

Again, this team is a non-factor.

Although they seem to have lost a bit of their mojo, I don't think I'd run any crossing routes against the 9'ers this weekend, Danny.

Just stole Danny off the FA list... Rolling the dice baby!!!

Look, I know it's a divisional game and all, but the Rams aren't going to beat the Niners even with him. Don't risk losing him for the season by coming back early. Wait until the next week and bring him back against the Jests.

Rams and weapons shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence

The Rams aren't going to beat the Niners even with a bazooka.

He had a good week last week because no one hit him.

Agreed. They aren't winning this one, with or without him.

Steroids do speed the healing process.

I like this kid, would hate to see him get killed by a hard hit.

"In my mind I'm playing."

That's excellent! Did your team win, in your mind? Did you play well?

You might want to get some more real-world reps before you step in a game, Danny.

So he says he feels alright, what do the trainers and doctors have to say? Although a injury may feel OK and may be mending properly, the question is; Has the injured area come back to full strength?

Shh. You'll wake him up.
