08:04 AM ET 11.07 | A sore right ankle and strained right foot kept Kobe Bryant from practice for a second straight day Tuesday, which likely won't keep him from playing against the Jazz tonight. "Hopefully, I'll be about 90 percent (Wednesday)," Bryant said. ... The amount Bryant plays is up for debate. Bryant is averaging 37 minutes a game through the first four games of the season and both Bryant and Lakers coach Mike Brown said they would like to cut down on that number. "I'm physically able to play a big bulk of minutes," Bryant said. "I'm in really tip-top shape so my body can handle that, but if I don't need to play that many minutes, then all the better." Added Brown: "The one thing I really want to do is be conscious of Kobe's minutes.

Kobe's now suffering from the T.O. syndrome, he thinks he can play at a very high level until he's 40 (madness) and although he maybe as he say "in tip top shape", it comes a time to let you ego go and do what's best for your team in the long run. Its call conservertism.....player the proper minutes particularly when you have as much wear and tear as Kobe. I know all the Kobe homers will be out in droves sayin "Kobe can do it" "he'll be fine". Got news for ya homers......Duncan, Ginobli, Garnett, Pierce, have all slowed down and as much as you homers think he's some kinda super physical talent, Kobe in fact will slow down as well....even if he don't think so! This is Apple, "and I'm out"!

He probably won't play at a high level till he's 40 but at 34 he's still a top 5 SG - that is very impressive (as much as its impressive that Steve Nash had the numbers he had last year at 37).

You mean top five period, not just SG. I don't have a problem with this at all.
