Nebraska hosting Southern Miss at Arrowhead

Nebraska is "exploring the possibility" of playing Southern Miss next season at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., Husker athletic director Tom Osborne said Tuesday. "I've had a preliminary conversation with somebody from the Chiefs," Osborne said. As recently as June, it appeared Southern Miss would move its 2013 home game against Nebraska to New Orleans' Superdome. "It was really at the request of Southern Miss that we took a look at the Chiefs as well," Osborne said. "So I don't know how it's all going to play out. We have to get the financial details ironed out. We don't know for sure where that game's going to be played, whether it's New Orleans, Kansas City or even Hattiesburg (Miss.)."
