Canucks ready to wheel Luongo to a rival?

08:21 AM ET 11.07 | With the threat of a CBA accord, the possible return of hockey coincides with the return of trade speculation. A lot of this is Oilers broadcaster Bob Stauffer's fault, because he suggested Edmonton is prepared to make a big move. But Jordan Eberle for Roberto Luongo? Nail Yakupov for PK Subban? Get real. ... Don't forget, though, out of the last lockout, Kevin Lowe snared Chris Pronger and Michael Peca, so there is historical precedent. Personally, I think the Oilers like Luongo a lot, but I'm not so sure the Canucks would want to send him to a rival -- assuming the goalie even wanted to go there. ... You know who'd make a lot of sense? Jay Bouwmeester. He also has a no-trade clause, but could you imagine Calgary and Edmonton making that deal?

It looks like the CBC had out the dart board again last night.

What say you Harry? This sort of talk might clear your sinuses?

Harry's crack clears your sinuses?

If PK Chelios ended up in Edmonton I could probably handle it. I'd still dump the Habs as one of my 5 but at least he'd be going to one of my 5...

I really don't give a flying one where Robooby ends up. But preference is they get stuck with him.

Can't see the Habs trading PK who has been steadily developing in the NHL for an unproven rookie where it sets them back again to development for a couple of years. Regardless how good of a player's potential might be.
Besides...good D are harder to find.

Robooby likely goes to the South...Wifey would like that.

HA HA HA Kuhvin is just dense enough to bring this loaf of hair gel into his dressing room. Hopefully he trades Horcoff for him so neither Team gets ahead ;-)

I can't either and would never forgive them if they did.

But if they did, I'd rather he go to Edmonton than most other places. Detroit would be OK too.

What if the Oil deal for him ?? Hhahah...i bet you'd ditch the Oilers eh.

The Canuckleheads would gladly send Luongo to Edmonton, anywhere to get rid of that albatross contract.

Did I not just say I could handle PK in Edmonton? It's the Habs I'd ditch. Like I did when they traded Chelios Sr.

PK has been regressing, not developing. He is proving himself to be a one trick pony and the Habs will be hard pressed to get more than a warm body for him at this point.

Meant Bobby Lou obviously.

LOL.....Luongo garners such little respect that his own thread has been usurped by Subban chatter.

You can't have him even though I know you want him.
