08:22 AM ET 11.07 | No, the Toronto Marlies aren't scheduled to see the city of Dallas during this week's road trip through Texas. But they're sure to see a lot of Dallas the head coach, right in their faces, if this autumn amnesia plaguing the 2012 Calder Cup finalist worsens. "I want to see more will," Eakins declared on Tuesday night, ahead of three-in-three against Houston, Austin and San Antonio. "We have lots of skill, but skill doesn't always win every game." The Marlies are currently last in the North Division with a record of 3-4-1. ... Jake Gardiner and Mike Kostka, has done its job and scored almost half the goals. But an alarming set of low digits is weighing on would-be Maple Leaf forwards such as Nazem Kadri, Joe Colborne and Carter Ashton.

Would-be Leafs struggling in AHL

In this season of turmoil it's nice to see a constant.

Hahaha...hilarious....*yawn*

Playoff fatigue...not to worry, though it does raise questions about a jump up to the NHL should it resume...Even the L.A Kings are still hangin out with their feet up.

Burkie better double his 2013 zantac order !

November 7, 2012  10:30 AM ET

Only one of the three they said were struggling that I still had hope for was Kadri. That ended when he showed up to training camp looking like a brown Brian Burke.

I think Ronnie only threw him under the bus about 75 times...but dont worry its that 76th time that REALLY hurts...lol.

Not to defend RW, but Kadri is hardly the first ever First rounder to do absolutely nothing in the NHL. Every team has drafted them at some point.

Maybe, just maybe, Kadri is not that good.

November 7, 2012  11:22 AM ET

Kadri has got to go. I am not sure he will ever make it, but it ain't gonna happen in Toronto. Too much pressure, combined with his soft, never-care attitude just isn't a fit. Perhaps he will go to someone else and turn into a semi-productive player, but he has been given enough time to assert himself in Toronto, and has failed miserably. Carter Ashton is a 3rd winger type who will never put up numbers, but has size and speed, 2 things the Leafs could use.

And he went 22 spots after Kadri.

Colborne has been a big bust so far in his pro career.
