Miami job interested Irvin

Michael Irvin, noting ''there's so much I know about playing that most coaches don't think about,'' said he would have had an interest in the Miami receivers coach job (filled by Aubrey Hill) if he lived here, but his family is happy in Dallas.

It's Not!

Receivers coach, huh. I would have thought team drug dealer/village idiot.

"So coach, I was wonder about the cut on my post routes."

"Wall I thank yadhfdj kgldf hldsvsnjkla dsfhdfsljafaklfnaklfjhgasdkjf"

"Thanks, Mike."

SAY WHAT????????????????????????????? Have the people at Miami lost their minds?

Report Offensive Comment

notice it interested irvin, no that we were interested in him

Report Offensive Comment

Say no to drugs Irvin and say no to Irvin, Donna.

Report Offensive Comment

First problem would be that nobody could understand what the Mushmouth says. Second, is there enough coke and fur coats in Miami to keep Mumbles satisfied?

Report Offensive Comment

Irvin is one of the dumbest people ever to put on a football uniform. And the drugs certainly did not help his IQ move north. (It's not his words, it's the [lack of] thought behind them.)

Report Offensive Comment

Yes, there is no way Irvin is a coach. Great reciever, not a coach. I can see Irvin taking recruits out to the stripclubs, doing bumps on strippers bellies. Yeah that's what Miami needs.

Yeah, like how to play with a head full of coke, oh and how to seek the highest dollar contract for your services...IN COLLEGE!

This would be the equivalent of FSU hiring Tamarrick Vanover to be a coach. Easily the least intelligent human being I've ever met.

Isn't that like letting the fox guard the chickens???

Report Offensive Comment

When your unemployed, you have to consider everything

Report Offensive Comment

Great player, but you dont need to be remembered as a crap coach. Dont do it.

Report Offensive Comment

More like giving the keys to jail cell to the inmate instead of the guard.

Report Offensive Comment

In other news...I, too, was interested in the Miami Receivers Coach position.

The U, however, had no interest in me either.

Report Offensive Comment

Sorry about the bad news Trainwreck, I think you'd have done a great job.

Report Offensive Comment

If Miami wants to go back the the "old Miami" ways, they are going to Irvin. Who else is better to be the Off-Field Incidents and Taunting Coach.

Report Offensive Comment

Michael Irvin as receivers coach ? How about Huggy Bear as offensive coordinator ? Tony Montana as head coach, of course. And, let's see, we'll stock the locker room with Cristal champagne, bowls of coke, and lotsa pretty ladies. The only thing more ludicrous than hiring this guy for this position is ESPN paying him to be an analyst.

everybody makes mistakes.give irvin a break.he probaly would be a good coach cuz he relates good with people and hes a winner.irvin went to my high school and i know him and his family and he is a changed guy.guarentee he could help with recruiting

Report Offensive Comment

Everyone loves to watch a good train wreck........go for it!

Report Offensive Comment

he was given "breaks" before...how many times do you want to give him "breaks"? Everytime he's arrested for drugs??? There's a good role model for college kids.
