08:52 AM ET 11.07 | In an incredible gesture to show solidarity within the organization and to show their support of head coach Chuck Pagano who is battling leukemia, members of the Indianapolis Colts have shaved their heads. Doctors said earlier this week that Pagano's leukemia is in remission but the head coach began his second round of chemotherapy on Monday. Colts owner Jim Irsay sent out a tweet to let people know that the players were shaving their heads. Some members of the Colts organization - long snapper Matt Overton, punter Pat McAfee and kicker Adam Vinatieri - all participated in the head shaving and showed off their new bald looks to support their ball coach. Overton sent out an image from his official Twitter page with the hashtag "#ChuckStrong."

53 bald headed, highly motivated players walking onto the field with a scowl might be somewhat intimidating.

I'm looking forward to seeing them play the Pats, a week from Sunday.

I won't be convinced until the beat a team that's actually very good (and no, I don't count the Packers as very good. Without Rodgers they're probably 4-12).

This has got to be one of the best stories of the season. This is why we like sports - it can and does bring out the best in people.
