01:31 PM ET 11.07 | Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick stated on Wednesday that his brother Marcus will no longer be a distraction via social media. During the team's disappointing loss on Monday night to the New Orleans Saints, Marcus took to Twitter and expressed his frustration with the Eagles' offensive line and their inability to protect his brother. After sending out a string of explicitly worded tweets (including one which requested the Eagles trade Michael), Marcus gained a great deal of unwanted attention as his statements made their way across the network through retweets. During Michael's postgame media availability, reporters questioned whether he was aware of Marcus' statements, which he stated he was not. On Wednesday, Michael informed Ian Rapoport of NFL.com that he had spoken to Marcus about the incident and promised that nothing like that will ever happen again.

Sometimes the truth hurts.

I bet they blame Vick for his brothers tweets as well as every missed tackle and blocking assignment...Oh yea and lets not forget about the drops and fumbles. Vick has not played well so there is no argument there. But if anyone thinks that he IS THE ONLY problem and some other QB could come in there and fix it behind that offensive line, you are outta your mind. He could have been sacked more if not for his elusiveness. Foles would be a sitting duck

After all his troubles, Vick's brother still acts like an idiot.

the CON-vicks--- a family of Felons... I remember when marcus got kicked out of football--- What a mentor...

Check out Marcus' legal history: he's got a rap sheet as long as his arm.

Guess the front line is going to let a few more get by now.

Vick is going to lead Philly right to the top of the draft. Maybe the Eagles should try and find out if a better QB is available, like Rex Grossman or Kevin Kolb.

Imagine how much it sucks to be Vick though.... He has to apologize for everything.

Andy Reid's HORRIBLE offense after getting creamed 4 quarters.... His dumb **** brother's twitter account.... Must suck.

Just another example of a front office thinking they can win with a weak O Line. Doesn't matter who the QB is. How did Weeden work out for them?

November 8, 2012  12:49 PM ET

LOL 2 - 7 maybe they should get another QB

Good news for Vick and Co. They get to play the Redskins next. They make any quarterback look good.
